You may have seen NoCo running around the streets of Silver Spring with acclaimed music photographer, Doug Sonders.
We will be rolling out the final hi-res photos soon, in the meantime, enjoy the teasers on Doug’s blog.
Good effort guys! We didn’t get first place, but rock isn’t about winning things! If there was a contest for best fans, you’d all get #1!
I got an e-mail from some law firm representing a video production company claiming to have received over 50 complaint letters from concerned fans that they did us a disservice with our video. Sadly, they were not the producers of our video. So, let’s stay classy and not send any more hate mail to anyone.
First off, I think it’s really badass in a way that you guys would spring to our defense to make sure that we have our best image out there. I too was concerned about the comments of “these bands suck” that I saw on the Metromix website.
If this activity was aimed at band exposure and the exposure didn’t make us look good… well, you get the idea.
That being said, it is still really cool that we even had a chance at being on network TV. We had a lot of fun at the show that we set up in DC and we met a lot of cool new people. We had a chance to introduce you to our new drummer! Some of you got to see us live for the first time. Others of you couldn’t make it and are now anxiously awaiting the next show!
So, blurry, dark, bad-sounding 30 second video aside, we’ve got great things on the horizon for all of you NoCo fans.
Peace, Love, and Stay Classy DC!
Jack

Here’s the version that was aired on CBS. I was able to fix the audio for Whatever It Takes. Aloud To Me wasn’t so lucky…
Hey guys!
Many of you watched the CBS special with us in it last night and loved the show! Thanks so much for checking it out! We hope that you are currently texting your brains out right now.
For those of you who watched us on TV last night and wondered, “Why did CBS choose to use the off-tempo breakdown from Whatever It Takes and the beginning of Aloud To Me to use as our mixtape for the show? Why was it so dark? Why was the audio weak? Was the guitar turned on? I was in the crowd and they didn’t do any crowd shots… what the hell?!?”
So, we are proud to present you with the bootleg, shaky, REAL mixtape that represents what that show was all about: the great crowd, great fun, energy, loud music, and lots of Red Bulls. Mmm lots of Red Bulls.
We’ve got some exciting news for our friends in the DC metro area! As you may know, we were named one of DC’s hottest 5 bands by WUSA-9 and Metromix. We had an amazing show with many of you on Thursday at 19th Bar in DC! It was so much fun that we even convinced Justin to break loose and drink a diet Red Bull!
And now, in American Idol finals format, we will be featured in the finals show TONIGHT (Saturday 7/31) at 9 PM on WUSA-9! If you can’t catch us on DC’s CBS affiliate, we’ll do our best to post some hot clips online for your viewing pleasure later.
After the show, you’ll be prompted to do the cool thing and text NOCO to 25543. You’ll be able to text in votes all the way through 9 PM on Sunday.
No matter where you are, please text NOCO to 25543 at 930 PM TONIGHT! We’ll love you forever!
It’s official… here is our new drummer:
You’ll get to know Will more as time goes on. Please welcome him!
Rock!

Everyone did a great job helping to send us to the finals of the CBS WUSA-9 battle of the bands!
Our finalists show is on Thursday, July 29th at 7 PM at the 19th Bar in NW DC. We’re still finalizing all of the details, but if you are there, you’re likely to be on TV when they air the program. Please show up early, in case you have to sign waivers. As far as we know, this is a FREE SHOW!
If this isn’t awesome enough, this will be the debut of our soon-to-be-named new drummer.
Anyway, the show will be broadcast on CBS-9 on July 31st at 9 PM. After the show, they will prompt you to text in your votes American Idol style.
We’ll keep you up to date on all the upcoming details. Thanks again for your support!
We don’t typically ask for you guys to do mindless voting for contests. It’s just not how we operate. They usually make you sign up for some website registration where you give out your credit card info, social security number, mother’s maiden name… we wouldn’t do that to you!
We were recently contacted by WUSA 9 (CBS in DC) and a website called Metromix as were were selected as a Top 15 DC band!
As we typically do, we checked out the situation to see if this would whore our fans or actually be something cool. Surprisingly, there was nothing to sign up for and no catch! Amazing!
So we need your help! Please click this link and vote for NoCo.
We’ll let you guys know what to do next after we win. What WE will do after we win is release a full bootleg copy of a new track off of the new album. Booyah!
Thanks!
Jack
